About Momminess
Built by parents, for the questions parenthood brings
Momminess brings pregnancy tracking, everyday tools for babies and young children, and educational content into one account. Here is why we built it, who is behind it, and where its limits are.
Why Momminess exists
Momminess was created because, as parents ourselves, we were looking for a reliable and transparent place that would guide us from family planning through pregnancy and into everyday life with young children. What we found was often incomplete, or contained incorrect and confusing information.
As parents of several children, we know how many questions, uncertainties and responsibilities come up along the way. We built Momminess to offer genuine, easy-to-understand and practical support at each stage, whether you are starting a family, expecting a baby or raising young children.
Our aim is to help parents and parents-to-be find their way, and to live the moments of parenthood with a little more calm.
What Momminess does, and what it does not do
Momminess is an organizer and an information companion. Knowing its boundaries matters as much as knowing its features.
Momminess helps you
- record what you want to keep: readings, symptoms, feeding, sleep, growth and more;
- organize appointments, checklists and stage-by-stage tasks in one account;
- calculate simple things from your own entries, such as pregnancy weeks or intervals between contractions;
- find educational content relevant to your current stage.
Momminess does not
- diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, or interpret results for you;
- replace your doctor, midwife, health visitor or another qualified professional;
- provide emergency help: if something feels urgent, call your local emergency number or your care provider;
- promise any health outcome.
How Momminess is funded
The core Momminess experience is free. Momminess Care is an optional subscription that adds convenience features, such as saving favorite articles or managing a breast-milk inventory, and it supports the continued development of the app.
A Care subscription is started in the Momminess mobile apps and belongs to your Momminess account, so it also works on the web when you sign in with the same account.
The people behind Momminess
Momminess combines professional experience from pregnancy care with product development. These are the people the app itself introduces.
Viktória Vasvári
Midwife, sonographer and content creator
Viktória has supported expectant mothers as a midwife and ultrasound specialist for more than a decade, from early pregnancy to birth. She sees every day how many questions and uncertainties families face, and creates Momminess educational content.
