A response that stayed with us

The presentation began with familiar moments from pregnancy care: a new symptom late in the evening, a test result that raises another question at home, or uncertainty that appears between two appointments. The room’s attention and the conversations around the talk made it clear that midwives recognise these situations immediately.

We were very glad to see the subject received so warmly. It strengthened our belief that trustworthy information in digital spaces deserves a place in professional conversations about the future of pregnancy care.

Why we keep returning to reliable information

The professional core of the presentation closely followed our earlier “Google or expert guidance?” story. People already use search engines, social media, pregnancy apps and generative AI between appointments. The task is therefore to help them recognise trustworthy sources, understand the limits of general information and know when a question belongs with a healthcare professional.

That earlier story explores the research and practical framework behind the talk in more detail. The message remains the same: digital tools can support the care relationship, but they cannot take its place.

Hundreds of new registrations after the talk

The presentation was followed by several hundred new Momminess registrations. We are grateful for that trust, and we hope these new members will stay with us for the journey ahead.

Our mission is to hold the hands of patients and families in the information chaos: to offer an organised, calm place for questions and reliable knowledge while keeping professional care at the centre. Every new person who shares that mission helps it travel further.
